About our Telemedicine service
We are offer telemedicine visits on a limited basis for certain types of medical issues. This service is for established patients in our practice only during our regular business hours.
"Telemedicine" will be a live audio/video appointment with one of our medical providers.
Before starting a telemedicine visit, please have:
- child's temperature checked
- check a current weight
- For babies & young toddlers: please remove all clothing except for their diaper
- a list of all current medicines & doses
- a record of any symptoms & fluid intake
- the telephone number of your pharmacy
- a smart phone or a computer with a web cam.
Insurance
We will file the telemedicine visit with your insurance carrier but upon scheduling your virtual appointment, any copay, coinsurance, or deductible allowable(s) will be collected at the time of scheduling. If you are unsure whether or not your insurance plan covers this service, we advise you to check with them before scheduling.
